USE

The C2O interface converts the signals coming from the coaxial digital input and from the analog AUX-IN into a TOSLINK optical digital output signal (up to 24 bit/192kHz).

The conversion allows the integration of the new Hi-Res portable devices equipped with coaxial digital output (75Ω) and smartphones with analog output on 3.5 mm mini Jack (also 4 poles) with Audison processors featuring an optical digital input compatible with the resolution of the signal sent to the C20.

Thanks to its extreme compactness, the C20 can be installed in a hidden position on the dashboard, drastically reducing the length of the cabling between the portable player and the receiving device nullifying in this way any issues with interfacing.

FEATURES

The coaxial digital input is provided with an isolation transformer that improves the balance between the transmitter and the receiver circuit, reducing noise due to EMI electromagnetic interference, which is particularly insidious inside the passenger compartment.

The AUX-IN input is equipped with a pre-amplifier with adjustable gain of 0.1V ÷ 2V for an optimal coupling with each device before the Analog-Digital conversion is performed by a high quality converter at a resolution of 24 bit/48 kHz.

For maximum ease of use in cars, the C2O independently selects the input with priority assigned to the AUX-IN. With the default setting, after 6 seconds of no analog signal, the C2O moves to the coaxial digital input. An internal switch allows for the time before the switch to be set to 9 or 12 seconds.

AUDIOPHILE SOUND YOU EXPECT FROM AUDISON

AF C8.14 bit boasts eight high-fidelity amplified channels 65W x 8 @4Ω*, 100W x 8 @2Ω*, with the audiophile sound of the latest generation Audison D-Class technology. Higher switching frequencies, steeper filtering, and higher-tolerance components deliver sound above and beyond the expectation of Class D – in an amazingly compact package! This is combined with native DSP working at 24 bit/96 kHz, extending the audio band up to 40 kHz and earning the coveted High-Resolution certification. Bridging channel pairs results in 200W x 4 @4Ω*, guaranteeing flexible and powerful performance. Support for the Audison B-CON’s Absolute Volume function guarantees maximum bit depth, even with wireless connections!

*Output Continuous Power (RMS) @14.4 VDC, 1% THD, all channels driven.

NEXT-GENERATION TUNING CAPABILITIES FOR MAXIMUM CONTROL

Audison’s completely-new bit Drive PC software can analyze, route, and correct the signal in completely new ways – now you can measure, mix, and finally tune the sound with one powerful tool! The new Graphical User Interface simplifies every control and function, integrating acoustic measurement, and ensuring efficient tuning and great sound! The Acoustic RTA is integrated into the equalizer graph, and is compatible with your USB microphone or sound card. The Final EQ function allows final equalization without damaging the delicate left/right frequency relationships. The six processed preamp outputs are in addition to the eight amplified channels, allowing Forza’s DSP section to manage a larger system easily.

ADVANCED OEM INTEGRATION CAPABILITIES

Forza’s eight analog inputs, plus an optical Toslink digital input, support total connectivity even with the most complex OEM systems.  If more analog inputs are required, the optional F4IN expansion card adds four additional analog input channels! If a Coaxial SPDIF or a second Toslink SPDIF input is needed, the optional F2O expansion card can be used. Audison’s classic de-EQ process is joined by de-Time and de-Phase capabilities, enabling sound restoration in nearly every OEM system., The electrical signal analysis ensures proper integration and correction for each input and output channel. The built-in universal speaker simulation technology (USS) yields maximum compatibility with any OEM Source, without muting or instability.

AF C8.14 bit includes a set of six high-quality cables supplied with a protective printed strip placed upstream of the Molex connectors to increase the resistance to torsion:

  1. Pre-In with 8 stereo RCAs interconnection for after-market sources with PRE-OUT outputs
  2. Speaker-In with 8 pairs of labeled cables for OEM sources with high-level outputs
  3. Speaker-Out with 8 labeled cables to connect the amplifier to the speakers
  4. Dsp-Out with 6 labeled cables to connect the amplifier to one or more companion amplifiers
  5. Forza Control cable with 2 wires for remote power-on and remote out signal, plus 2 wires for functions programmable on bitDrive software.

Features

Enjoy the improved audio performance of the latest generation Audison D-Class technology.

Maximum versatility thanks to the bridging option for each pair of channels.

Forza amplifiers have two independent power supplies: the audio amplifier power supply is loosely regulated, which allows superior dynamic performance. The DSP power supply is stiffly regulated, which maintains DSP microprocessor operation even during lower-voltage transient states (i.e., start/stop operation).

Native DSP working at 24 bit/96 kHz and an extended audio band up to 40 kHz.

Pure digital signal transfer with a resolution up to 24bit/96 kHz.

Quick I/O Configuration speeds up system definition and signal routing.

When connected with Audison B-CON hi-res Bluetooth receiver, this feature manages the Master Volume of the Forza amp thus ensuring full dynamic range signal at the input.

iDatalink Maestro AR native support for a total integration with OEM infotainment.

Equipped with eight analog inputs, to support total connectivity even with the most complex OEM systems.

Electrical Signal Analysis ensures proper integration and correction for each input channel.

Automatically sums and reverses OEM equalization.

Input delay compensation of time-delayed factory outputs prior to signal summing.

Allows left and right inputs to match in phase before tuning, even if OEM phase processing has been used.

Universal Speaker Simulator technology on high-level inputs for maximum compatibility with any type of Head-Unit OEM Source.

Next-generation bit Drive software platform - developed for this family of products - simplifies every control and function.

14 DSP-processed output channels for a total control.

6 native pre-out channels for maximum versatility.

The acoustic analysis integrates the response graph into the equalizer display ensuring efficient tuning and great sound, compatible with any 24-bit USB microphone.

The electrical analysis integrates the response graph into the input equalizer display, ensuring efficient tuning.
